New Management Team in place for Brooklands MUHC 2’s and Development players

New Management Team in place for Brooklands MUHC 2’s and Development players

Brooklands MUHC are pleased to announce the new coaching and management team for the 2nd team.

Peter Mullford has been appointed head coach after a rigorous application process. He brings a wealth of experience, current pedagogy and a drive, he aims to make the 2nd team a successful development platform for aspiring 1st team players.

He leaves a position of Head Coach at Wilmslow HC. He is currently involved within England Hockey’s Single System as a Head Coach and enrolled on the EH Performance Analysis CPD programme.

Alongside Peter, Carel Van Bentum joins the 2nd team as Manager. He is fully embedded within the Single System based in Manchester where he is the lead administrator for the centre.

Mark Bateman, Current BMUHC head Coach writes :- “In Peter and Carel we have 2 experienced practitioners and we expect they will add real value to the squad. They will be tasked with creating a robust mind-set within the 2nd team and asked to bring on the next generation of David Flanagans!”
