A fighting display by the Girls U18 indoor tam saw them come through their northern group and qualify for the national finals to be held in Croydon on the 21/22 January.

Results were as follows:
1 v 5 Fylde (Tor Hughes scorer)
5 v 1 Harrogate (Tor Hughes 2, Becky Loonan 2, Ellie Cronin)
5 v 1 York (Tor Hughes 3, Becky Loonan 2)
2 v 2 Wakefield (Tor Hughes, Becky Loonan)

The draw with Wakefield meant penalties, with Becky, Sarah and Tor all scoring, Wakefield replied in kind, so it then went to sudden death. Our girls all scored again (of course!!) and it was left to Megan Klymowec to pull off a great save to deny the 3rd Wakefield penalty and send the girls through to the national finals.

The super six were: Megan Klymowec, Amy Patterson, Sarah Johnson, Becky Loonan, Tor Hughes and Ellie Cronin.
