Master Class!!

Brooklands 3s v Chester 2s (0-5)
After a series of improving performances we were hoping to get a good result against our visitors from Chester. However, it was not to be. Instead we were mere spectators to a master class in passing the ball and retaining possession. In all fairness, Chester were a strong team made up of some seasoned veterans and some outstanding young talent, who made our team look like a mix of haggard old ladies and little girls! (Sorry guys).

Believe it or not there were still some positives to take from the game. Despite the half time score of 0-4, we battled on and after the break we only conceded one more goal. Once again, our rookie goal keeper, Theresa, put in a great performance and saved us from an even more embarrassing score line. Also, Pam and Holly Dixon were not tempted to score any more own goals! Well done girls!
