The GB Trophy is an invitational and the format is 12 golfers playing a stableford 18 holes.

This year was as close as ever with Bill Harvey (39 points)) being the leader in the clubhouse after the first four-ball came in and that’s the way it stayed until the final four came in for George Buchan, limping heavily from an injury received in a Scotland/ England match encounter, to surprisingly snatch it with (40 points). Brian Rogerson 36, Darius Virabi 35, John Bell 35 closely followed.
