We want to share some fantastic news for one of our Junior members, Patrick Bland. This week Patrick has been added to England Hockey's National Young Umpires Promising List.

Patrick recently umpired at the National Age Group Indoor Finals & his performances there were recognised by the NYUPL, so Patrick has now been given this fantastic opportunity to develop his umpiring.

As part of the NYUPL Patrick will receive mentoring from National League Umpires, as well as opportunity to umpire National Level junior matches and junior international matches.

Patrick continues to play for Brooklands in our Mens 6th team & umpires in the Ladies North West leagues.

Everyone at Brooklands is proud of your success as an umpire & hope that you can help us develop more junior umpires over the next few years.

We all know hockey cannot happen, at any level, without people volunteering to umpire, so we are calling all members at Brooklands, senior & junior, to help out.
