The 2's score 7!!!

great work by David Mills on the baseline to set up Matt Leigh with a simple tap in. brooklands were applying pressure throughout and but not able to convert chance. The Second Brooklands goal comes from Mat Lakin-Hall with him stealing the ball at the top of the D, nut-megging the defender and slotting the ball in the bottom corner. Ben Rhydding finally attack the brooklands D and get a short corner that they convert to make the scores 2-1. Ben Rhydding are struggling to get the ball out of there half. But after a loss of concentration ben Rhydding drive down brooklands right hand side with some speed catching the brooklands defence napping by floated cross in and an easy tap in back post making it 3-2.

Brooklands dominating the game in the possession game just trying to find ways to break down the Rhydding defends. With some great play by Liam Dudley by stealing off there left back and driving inside and threading a pass through to Nick Jeffs would rinses his marker and gets an all might whack and wins us a stroke. Which the skipper step up and slot in the top corner making the keeper look silly to make it 3-1.

Brooklands start the 2nd half as they did the first in blistering pace & passion, always wanting to win the ball and gain possession back within a moment of seconds. Great bit of counter attacking play bring brooklands 4th goal. With a clearance from Darius clearing the ball out with to Trigger, then he find Matt Leigh just on the half way line and with some great vision Leigh finds David Mills in acres of space at the top of the D and he calmly put the ball between the keepers legs making the score line 4-2. Ben Rhydding score their short corner to make it 4-3.

Brooklands are soon back applying that pressure and keeping the ball up in the Rhydding half. Some superb vision from Liam Dudley finds Nick diving in the area and placing the shot in the corner. Score board reads Brooklands 5-3. Brooklands are applying pressure and finding more and more spaces in the Rhydding defence and scoring 2 goals with 3 minutes, with goals from Matt Leigh with a quick counter attack with Darius taking a quick 16 to find Wolfie who pumps it up field to find Matt Lakin-Hall on the baseline who feds Mills at the top of the D and with a very precise topped shot which finds Matt Leigh to convert this chance with a nicely take volley. And the 7th goal come from some hard work from Matt Leigh tackling one of the Rhydding players on Rhydding 25 yard line, with Matt Leigh playing a deflection off the keeper to Matt Lakin-Hall to finish with a very good finish in a tight area.

To team now make to long trip to Gateshead this Saturday as they look to continue their excellent start to the season.
