This week the 3s played Lytham Away, a miserable place, all cloudy and grey,

As we took to the pitch the rain started pouring, luckily this game would be far from boring.

The game started with intensity, it was too much for Steve, who broke his foot with his first touch, causing him to leave.

Halftime came about with Brooklands 1-0 down, motivating words from Mr Dixon turned the frowns around.

The game was restarting, and Brooklands were back, bombarding, outsmarting.

We continued to dominate, focused on scoring whilst others like Rushbridge were out for a scrap, flooring and roaring.

Another attack and the ball falls to Fullers, a pull back to Anton, "he should be starting" declared our John,

2-1 to Brooklands, but we weren’t stopping there, as the game continued, filled with flair,

A swift passing move, led to goal number 3, tiki taka hockey, a deft touch in the D,

The game finished 3-1 to the 3s, back to winning ways, and for once we got teas.
