What? not more Scousers!!

In a run of games which sees the 3s seeming playing every team playing within the Liverpool area , we took the trip to a pitch with a low fence (cursing of coach as he spent the warm up retrieving balls from the trees) and with an umpire that had a similar accent to the opposition. Shame he could not understand the abuse that was being hurled at him by one team. With Andrew Rusbridge the subject of a card by innocently asking the umpire why he did not like him the passing game we strive to play was parked slightly. Yet again we were unable to field the same team two weeks running. The game got more and more physical as the game went on a at times resembled a game of hurling. What a time from Crackles to make his opening bow of the season. Both keepers probably displayed the best goal keeping in the league so far to thwart a number of efforts with young Alex pulling off a top corner diving save to clinch man of the match in one moment. We had so much pressure Siddy was able to catch up on old times with the oppo forward whilst we were pressing.

The pressure would eventually tell and with leading goal scorers Anton and Duds on the pitch it was just a matter of time when the goals would come. Rusbridge made a fantastic run down the pitch with some great 3D skills, the defence batted it out to Crackles who slammed it back in for Duds to break the deadlock. Two mins later Duds put one on a plate with a bit of a side salad for Anton to double the advantage.
Eventually the patterns will click and a team will suffer but at the minute the results are being ground out.
