A very damp day in Wigan, stepping up to the league above again to play Horwich 2nd team, another full team of adults to test our players of tomorrow.
We pretty much controlled the first half with Lakin-Hall (Junior) bagging a couple in the first quarter, one from open play and one a short. We scored a couple more before half time. 2nd half they moved some players around and we got sucked into trying to score more, they were given more chances on the break, one of them they took. We missed a hat full (didn’t we L-H Senior…), we still bagged two more and many compliments from the opposite on how well the lads did.
